1982 was the year I got hooked on Hot Air Balloons. I took a Hot Air Balloon Ride for $300.00 the second Balloon Ride cost me $30,000.00, and I still feel like a kid every time I stand the balloon up with the burner. I began working for a balloon manufacturer, learning to cut, sew, weave, and stuff (into a bag), then with a corporate contract nationwide as Crew then became a Pilot. I absolutely Love to fly! It is second nature to me to be in the air. I have over 2000 hours in Hot Air Balloons, more than 100 in Gas Balloons, 500+ in Airplanes, 80+ parachute jumps, and looking forward to soaring in 2008. The latest news; 2007 America’s Challenge Gas Balloon Race the team of Cayton/Enloe flew 1055 miles in 61 hours to gain the opportunity to represent the United States in the 2008 World Cup Gordon Bennett. Balloon Atlanta is VERY picky about our equipment, it’s new, in perfect shape, and ready to fly at anytime. |
